Phoenix Canoe Club is affiliated to British Canoeing and run by volunteer coaches and helpers, offering a warm welcome to new members and operate an equal opportunities policy offering paddlesport for all with a range of training and recreational activities. The Club meets most Sunday afternoons from 1pm – 4pm for recreational paddling and we can supply beginners with all of the boats and kit they need. The Club is open to young people 9 and above and adults and offers various activities for youth and senior paddlers.
We also run a series of river trips throughout the year, both flat water and whitewater in the UK, Europe and beyond. With Lee Valley Whitewater Centre just half an hours drive away, we can get you started on a whitewater training programme as soon as you have developed basic skills.
